Introducing our brand new CLASSIC Bodybuilding Shorts. The main difference is the fit and feel. These shorts are about 0.75" shorter than our previous shorts and about 1" smaller in circumference (the leg holes).
Aiming at evoking the classic shorts from the 60s-80s, our new classic line is made of a thinner material (polyester), fits tighter and a little higher than our current Bodybuilding Shorts.
The shorts have been tailored to fit above the knee and are tapered around your thighs to show off the wheels. A side slit is also included in case you are busting out with gains.
Our model is 5'8, about 195lb, very muscular and wearing a size medium. He could also wear a large which would fit very comfortably.
In general the recommendation is the following:
Whatever short size you typically wear, go with that size if you want the authentic classic shorts experience, these are more tapered and also a little shorter (as you can see, above the knee to show off the quads). If you've bought our shorts before, unless they were quite tight, stick to the same size. If they WERE tight, go a size bigger.
If you are more conservative and don't want your sculpted thighs showing, size up.

Great shorts!
Great fit, Great quality! Love these shorts!
CanadaGreat shorts, very pricey
I love the quality and feel of these shorts! They're in the regular rotation for weekend wear. I have an identical pair (without the brand name) that only cost me half as much however.

I have been on the hunt for months for shorter shorts. I was sick of my old Target shorts. I was tempted by the low prices from one of those new Chinese sales sites--good prices but returns are all but impossible--so I'm out a few bucks for stuff that didn't fit. I realized Amazon might have what I was looking for. I got a four pack of 3" shorts for cheap. They fit great but are just a bit too short to wear out in public (at least that's what my wife says!). I tried some other sites but nothing was quite right. Then I found Raskol. These Classic shorts seemed like they'd be great. They're not cut too short. They fit like shorts and not like boxers. I like the subdued black color. The drawstring is long enough to actually tie off the waist band. My one problem is that they are cut a bit higher than I'd like. They sit around the waist, that is closer to my belly button. I'd prefer them to sit more on my hips but maybe after a while I'll loosen up the elastic in the waistband. The rear is cut a bit longer than the front so that the profile isn't "square" but when squatting it doesn't reveal too much backside. Overall, I feel comfortable in these and I think my wife is happy with them too, something I can wear outside playing with the kids or going to the pool. The price is just about the max I would pay. They come from USA so the shipping is not outrageous like other shorts I had found.

At 5'8" it's hard for me to find good quality gym shorts with a shorter length to show the legs and allow ease of movement. Very happy with these. High quality. Would love to see more shorts in solid colors.
